Esta parece la semana de la pintura, pero es que estoy experimentando cosas diferentes y aprovecho para pintar pequeñas piezas de madera que voy comprando.
Esta vez os muestro una cajonera de esas mini también de Ikea como la del post anterior que he pintado con una pintura tipo chalk paint casera que hice con la receta que os di aquí.
Me apetecía un color gris verdoso, así que me hicieron la pintura plástica en la tienda y luego le añadí la escayola en polvo y un poco de agua.
He de decir que es una pintura que seca muy rápido por lo que a veces se notan un poco los brochazos, como veréis en las fotos. Está bien si te gusta el look imperfecto.
Después probé dando cera incolora y oscura para envejecer.

Yo he probado la Chalk Paint de Annie Sloan auténtica y la verdad que esta pintura casera no queda igual ya que la de Annie Sloan se craquela cuando secas con un secador y esta no, así que debe de llevar algo más que no identifico. Además la Chalk Paint de Annie Sloan es más suave, por lo que pienso que también merece la pena comprarla si vamos a pintar un mueble especial, aunque salga más cara. Aunque para pintar cosas baratas sin importancia la receta casera va bien!!

This time I will show you another mini chest of drawers from Ikea like this post that I have painted with home made chalk paint as I told you here .
I wanted a grey-olive color and I used plastic paint mixed with plaster of Paris and some water.
This paint cures very quickly and you can see the strokes a little. Then I put some clear wax and some dark wax to do different looks and I like the result.
I have to say that I have tried the real Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and it is not exactly the same as this one. Real Annie Sloan Chalk Paint crackles when you dry it with a hairdryer and fake Chalk Paint doesn't. So it must have another secret ingredient...Also real Annie Sloan Chalk Paint is smoother so I think it is worth its price if you need to paint a very special piece of furniture. But for inexpensive things you can use the home made recipe!!
